Surround Display System

Recently,the technology of LED display developed quickly. With the bright blue LED appearing,the true color LED panel has been used widespread in many areas. The technology of LED display is the typical high-technology production,which merges MCU,video,optics,mechanism and image processing into a whole. Aiming at the default of current LED panels,we brought out a new LED display system,which is named as a rotary LED display system.We finished the system with our feature,hi this paper,we discussed the design of the system including the analysis and design of the image processing system,circuit system,mechanism system,and the method of improving the display quality of the new system.This paper comprised five chapters. After a brief introduction of LED and LED panel,we discussed the whole frame scheme and the display principle,which the rotary LED display system is based on. After analyzing former system schemes,we brought out a new whole frame scheme. We measured and analyzed the data of LED character. We designed a new image processing software to suit the new system.We discussed the circuit scheme and the mechanism scheme of the new system in the third chapter. We invented the method of transmitting the gradation data by DMA,after we analyzed different circuit of control and transmit gradation data. We analyzed different circuit to achieve gradation,different schemes to drive LED,and brought out the mechanism scheme of the new system. We discussed the functions of hardware system,software system,and mechanism system in detail.We measured the LED display character by our new system in the fourth chapter. We analyzed different factors,which affected the display effect. We brought out the methods to solve those problems. Summarization of this paper and advice for the future work are made in the last chapter.
