The LED panel, which also known as electronic panel, always consist of arrays of LED diode and LED driver circuit panel. Full-color LED panel can clearly display graphics, animation, video and chart information, but also television, videotape and live video. The LED panel have a lot of advantages that other traditional display devices can not compare:high brightness, low power, steady performance, extensible display size. Now, the full-color LED panel is widely used in many areas, such as transport industry, advertising trade and public place. This paper, which refer to technical requirements of the LED panel and characteristics of asynchronous displaytechnology, designa high-performance embedded platform and realize asynchronous control to full-color LED panel. The hardware system based on DM3730consist of several modules, including network module, UART module, SD storage module, USB storage module. The whole design of software system containconstruction of embedded Linux operating system and application software development for LED Panel. This application software is powerful, stable and universal. The following research works are contained in this paper:1. Analyzing user needs, designing the general mode of the whole asynchronous display system, and clear-cut each component.2. Building embedded Linux operating system environment based on DM3730,including works in bootloader, Linux kernel, driver and root system. 3. Developing control software for LED panel which support program schedule, playing control, multizone display, various media types.4. Designing display subsystem which is upon3D image enhancement with DM3730and can promote system display performanceobservably.
