Based On The Application Of Software Technology For Digital Tv Middleware Research And Development

Interactive digital TVs (IDTVs) which will provide wonderful information services in China in the future, involve much technology of computer, multimedia, communication and network. Middleware of IDTVs is very important which comprises technology such as software of computer, specification of international standard in IDTVs field, protocols of communication and network.This dissertation describes framework and multiplexing technology of MPEG2 system layer, analyzes the program specific information in MPEG-2 and DVB specifications, discusses the principles of cable Set-Top-Boxes(STB), realtime Operating System(RTOS), Condition Access(CA) of digital TV. This dissertation also discusses the type, function and developing direction of Middleware. Final this dissertation describes a concrete applications which based on OpenTV Middleware and used in SCTVNet.
