Mpeg2 Video Image Information Carrying The Research And Implementation

With the development of network,communication and information processing, there is a significant development in information hiding which is a new technology of information security recently. The technology of information hiding which is applied to covert communication is named information carrying which has a broad prospect in military communication. Information has different carrier such as text,sound,static picture,motion picture etc. This paper selects MPEG2 video picture as carrier and explores the technology of information carrying based on MPEG2 video picture.Beginning with the principal of information carrying, the paper introduces the information carrying technology in spatial domain ,DCT frequency domain and Wavelet domain. The paper also analyses MPEG2 coding technology and the format of MPEG2 stream. Then the paper integrates the general technology of information carrying with MPEG2 coding technology and provides a kind of information carrying scheme based on MPEG2 video picture. In this scheme, the intra macroblock is the basic carrying unit and the information carrying is operated after quantizing and before entropy coding. The paper also describes the pivotal technologies which are applied in the software implementation and gives the experimental result and evaluation. The paper lastly provides a new evaluating indicator which uses JND to evaluate information carrying.
