Based On The Research And Development Of The Usb Interface Of The Pda System

The research and explore on USB bus interface under a PDA system is a new function especially developed for Yizhichan palm computer. As the prior Yizhichan palm computer, it's connection with PC can only be done through series bus, but this research enables Yizhichan palm computer to communicate with PC through it's USB bus interface, as a outware, and so achieve functions such as digital communication, system advancement, and adding or deleting application software.This thesis, according to the thinking of the item development, gives detailed expound in four sides as follows: the design of USB bus interface hardware circuit, the design of the application software of the Host terminal of USB interface, design of equipment driver program, and the design of application software of the Slave terminal of USB interface.First of all, this thesis introduced the development of USB bus interface, the PDA system developed according to the Longzhu MC68VZ328 and PPSM imbeded operation system which were developed by Motorola, USB bus protocol, and the USB bus interface hardware chip SL811HS. Then, the emphasis turns to problems as follows: how to develop USB interface circuit according to USB bus protocol; how to use the application software of the Host terminal developed with Visual C++; how to develop the WDM driver program of USB interface; and the development of USB interface lower application software under a PDA system. Among these, some original codes and illustrations are demonstrated. Finally, a user interface for the communications between PDA system and PC is provided.
