The Research And Development Of The USB Test System

USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a new standard interface to connect PC and peripherals, Nowadays it is used frequently in PC peripherals. Considering the need of the development of the USB test system, the thesis carry the design of hardware and software based on USB into execution,so as to know the inherent mechanism of USB communication. Through the design and realization of the USB application system, the application and development based on USB interface technology could be mastered.This thesis first introduced the development of USB bus interface, USB bus protocol and the USB bus interface hardware chip PDIUSBD12. Then, turned emphasis to designing the USB test system circuit according to USB bus protocol; Finally, discussed in detail the design of the firmware for USB test system, the design of the WDM driver program and the development of the application software of the host terminal developed with Visual C++.
