| HDTV (high definition television) technology integrats the most advanced image compressed encodeing technology and the digital communication technology, it has become one of the focuses in the high-tech competitions. Having the initative in this field will take the lead of high technology in the future, and get great chance in the growing market. Equalizer takes an important role in HDTV receiver, its effect on reducing ISI (Intersymbol inteference) holds the balance of performance of the whole receiver. In this paper, structure and algorithm of the equalizer used in HIDTV VSB (Vestigial SideBand) system is analyzed, and the suitable blind algorithm for VSB system is given. We had adopted this blind algorithm in the third generation IIDTV receiver, and reached better performance in bad doppler channels. In chapter one, the history of HDTV and the GA scheme of HDTV are introduced. In chapter two, interfere in HIDTV channel is introduced. In chapter three, the limitation of DFE (decision-feedback equalizer) structure is exhibited, and the PFE (partial decision-feedback equalizer) structure is proposed to meet the demanding requirements. In chapter four, the limitation of the equalizer depending on training sequence is indicated. In chapter five, several kinds of blind algorithm is introduced, then a new speedy convergence blind algorithm is presented. In chapter six, the advisable blind algorithm for VSB system is proposed after computer simulations, and its hardware implememtation is given. |
