Distributed Computing And Its Modern Distance Education System

Since 1980's,Distributed computing has become the hot point of the study of computer development. Since the application based on the network is increasing greatly today and lots of users will be connected to WAN or Internet, many of the application programs need to run under the different network environment. Distributed computing may resolve effectively the system integration of resources share and interact under different network environments. This paper firstly discusses the environment, Architecture and some main realization technology, and then puts forward the valid means of long distance education system based on Internet after analyzing demands^and characteristics of it. Finally, use J2EE technology regulation to realize the system. The purpose of the paper is to apply this technology to practice and bring up comparatively commercial and perfect long distance education system model. It is expected that it can be some help to the development of long distance education.
