Design And Realization Of The Long-Distance Interactive Education System Based On FMS

Thisthesis have analyzed already some long-distance education systematiccondition, aim at its interaction not strong develop present situation, WithFMS which develop quickly these years, we have designed a long-distanceinteraction education system which have function of audio, video,whiteboard and chatting.The characteristics of the system are as follows:1. FMS is a powerful and flexible developing tool and it can providestreaming media, build and execute all kinds of interactive mediaapplications, is the only server to deliver audio and video to thepopular Flash Player. 2. The audio and video system has better real-time function becauseof streaming media. Streaming media can put the continuousimage and sound on the Web server by compressing, thus the usercan watch and listen when downloading without downloading thewhole compressing file on the computer.3. Compared with C/S mode, the electronic whiteboard systemadopting B/S mode has many advantages: the client needn'tmanage and maintain the information of other clients so that thearchitecture is clearer and the efficiency is higher, the client onlyneed run browser without installing application in advance so thatthe updating and maintaining of the software is eaier.Now, the superiority of long-distance education is being increasinglyprotruded, the long-distance education system based on Netscape pattern isthe development trend of this area. The application of FMS technologyrealizes the expanding of this pattern much more.
