Research And Design On The MultiAgent-Based Environment For Remote And Collaborative Learning

With the development of the computer network technology and multimedia technology, the long-distance education has entered into a brand-new developing stage, namely the third generation of long-distance education. The third generation of long-distance education is the modern long-distance education launched under three major communication networks, namely the environment of satellite, TV network and computer network. Its advantage mainly should reflect in two-way exchange and on being mutual, that is to say, synchronous and asynchronous communication make the teaching process more open, more flexible, more diversified and individualizing through modern information communication technology. The application and popularization of Internet are solid foundations that the third generation of long-distance education develops rapidly, that the third generation of long-distance education has digitization, multimedia and interactive remarkable technology and teaching characteristic, etc., it is the new generation of education technology that WWW technology, computer network combine with multimedia, and make outstanding teaching resource don't restrict by space-time, anyone can obtain the necessary study content in any time and anywhere, have really realized the education of popularization and all one's life.The long-distance collaboration learning based on Internet is an important research field of modern long-distance education. Internet has offered the valid environment for realization of collaboration learning on Internet through environment with limitless space-time, the present form of the multimedia information with excellent pictures and texts, the hypermedia information organization way according with the human thinking characteristic, friendly interface and diversified mutual forms of, etc.The paper has analyzed the characteristic of the modern education process and current educational pattern on the basis of studying current situation of the development of the long-distance education, namely it is an educational pattern based on the theoretical foundation with the community study theory, the study theory of constructivism and humanism, modern education is being transformed intoeducational pattern of regarding student as the centre towards the educational pattern of regarding teacher as the centre, according to the demand study mode of individualized, intelligentized will become the main characteristic of the long-range educational pattern in this century, so, the long-distance education should regard student as the centre, and fully reflect the individuation and intelligentized of the whole course teaching and learning.Though there is very great progress in the research of collaborative learning based on Internet, some concrete study platforms have been developed successfully already,and they have got concrete application, but practice indicates , these systems still have very great defects in the individuation and intelligentized respect, most systems take presenting the teaching material of machinery as the core more, student studies passively in the teaching course, and lack the essential mutual means, it adopt the same teaching tactics to students of different cognitive levels, lack intelligently with adaptability.In order to solve individualized and intelligent question, the long-distance education system, on the basis of the collaborative learning Web-based, the paper introduce CSCW technology and Agent technology, and construct a system of the long-distance collaborative learning based on multi-Agent to study individuation and intelligent problem of learning process, and to establish an individualized, intelligentized study environment for the modern long-distance education.
