Based On Lonworks Building Automation System Realization

In the last ten years, computer and communication technology have been rapidly developed. A new industry bus called Fieldbus comes into being. Fieldbus means the third milestone of automatic technology, that is from Distributed Control System (DCS) to Fieldbus Control System (PCS). PCS adapts the demand of complex and intelligent industry. FCS is the inevitable trend of the 21 en automatic technology.LON (Local Operating Networks) is the one of the excellent Fieldbus, which is presented by Echelon company of USA in 1991. It provides a very strong way for the monitoring system. Under its support, new intelligent and low cost monitoring products were born. This paper discusses the technology and successfully uses it into the BAS of the cancer center building of the Zhong Shan University.In chapter one, the FCS is introduced briefly and compared with the DCS; the significance that the FCS applies in building automation is explained. Chapter two shows the base knowledge of LonWorks Fieldbus Control System. Chapter three gives the overall scheme of the BAS of the cancer center building of the Zhong Shan University. Hardware structure of system is introduced in chapter four and the software's realization of system's LON is introduced in chapter five. Chapter six describes the development of the system's monitoring software of the upper computer in detail.
