Fieldbus Control System (FCS) technology is the hot automation control technology today, which has influence upon the automation control field greatly. It means entirely updating of control idea of people and absolutely revolution of traditional control structures.The communication protocol and technology of foreign FCS have not opened to users entirely. We would be in the danger which to be manipulated or dominated by other country, and threaten our national security, if foreign FCS was copied absolutely and applied to our socialist modernization construction, especially in some crucial areas such as national defense area, military area etc. We have an opportunity to research and develop our own FCS, because there is not a uniform criterion indeed yet, showing from the process of FCS standardization. So it have practical long-term meanings that developed a FCS criterion, which has our own intellectual property rights, and put it to practical application. YTO-lOl fieldbus technology, which developed by Guizhou Etech Information Industry Co. Ltd. In this situation, has self-intellectual property rights and domestic-made entirely. YTO-lOl fieldbus technology can apply to building automation system (BAS) area, manufacture area, national defense area, military area, and so on, because of its simple construction, high reliability, real-time quality and developing local node easily.It is dealt with the conception of FCS technology, its developing background, criterions of fieldbus today synthetically, and analyzed the structure and virtue of FCS in this paper. Then it is emphatically elaborated the main feature, utmost parameters, rated parameters, inner function, main registers and counters, network reference model, communication mode of device interface, communication mode of bus, device description etc. of YTO-101 fieldbus technology detailed, recommended the typical circuit of YTO-101 communication module, compared YTO-101 fieldbus with several influential international fieldbus (CAN, FF, Profibus and LonWorks).It is taken the automatic monitoring alarming subsystem of fire safety system of BAS breakthrough point for researched the application of YTO-101 fieldbus network in BAS, after emphatically researched the network structure of YTO-101 fieldbus technology and summarized the basic content of BAS.
