The paper has discussed emphatically on the proceeding of VCSC (Visual Control & Supervising Configuration) system. It also decrypted the design and implements of the supervising system in more details. In the system, programs in the nodes construct control system dynamically by using Neuron C function modules. The upper computer collects user's control parameters and cuts them into frames that will be sent into the nodes. As for the supervising platform, the computer use standard net variable to communicate with the nodes. The two-communication method is based on DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange). The system has an entire Chinese GUI (Graphic User Interface). All the function modules are saved as ActiveX and they carry out the entire configuration steps in the application, which arranges the user's control and supervising functions graphically and visually.The VCSC system has improved the LonWorks technique by visual configuration. It is easy to use and can be operated with less LonWorks developing experience. In the runtime test, it works efficiently and has a perfect effect on the LonWorks field bus svstem.
