| CAPP bridges the CAD and CAM and it is given increasingly concern. It becomes one of the researching focuses nowadays. But its application hi practice is not very good, because some of its intrinsic problems are not solved yet.This paper introduced the source, purpose and significance of this project, analyzed the current state of the CAPP technology, and put forward a method to construct a useful CAPP system.The Group Technology coding and feature based part information inputting method is detailed stated in this paper. As well as the feature combining and sorting process decision method was stated. And the editing of the process card and exporting of the process graph the database maintaining method was provided in the CAPP system.The relation database-Ms SQL Server is used as the database platform and the front-end developing language is the object-oriented language-Visual Basic and the graph platform is AutoCAD. |
