Research And Development, Based On The Java Multi-tier Architecture Of Database Applications

With the rapid popularization of the Internet, the increasing demand on information rises sharply, especially the various real-tune information obtained on the Internet. These all need the support of database application. How to develop database application based on the B/S architecture is becoming a new task.The evolution of computer technology and enhancement of network communication is a base to implement database application on the Internet through Java. The distributed computing and its mode upon Java platform not only fulfill the requirements of database application on the Internet but take full advantage of network to provide computation for remote clients.Under the Internet environment, there are many virtues of the database application of multi-layer architecture on Java platform such as scaleability, manageability, safety, transplantability and so on. A solution is brought forward in this article, which constructs an application server between clients and database servers to implement the database application of multi-layer architecture upon the platform of Java.
