| In the Civil Engineering ,the light weight steel structure can be more and more important and widely applied, because of its fast construction, economizing on energy and environmental protection, the overall excellent technical and economic indexes, beautiful building and good anti-seismic advantages. At the same time, there are no good steel structures designing software in accordance with Chinese code for structural design in our country. The portal rigid frame is the mostly structure of light weight steel structure. It has two forms- lattice rigid frame and solid belly rigid frame. However, there is few steel structure designing CAD software about portal lattice rigid frames. So the author takes part in developing a portal lattice rigid frame designing CAD software and takes charge of developing the module of designing base.The module is finished under the advanced flat Visual C++6.0,which is applicable to Windows 9X/Windows NT/Windows2000.In the developing the author uses the advanced computer technology including C/C++ Windows Programming, Microsoft Foundation Classes, transferring data with Mapping files in memory and thread, operating visibility, and developing drawing system with ADS technology.The module consists of three parts: preprocess, calculating kernel and post-processing. The data used by calculation program and post-processing are formed by dialog boxes. The program can check the validity of the data. The calculating kernel uses the OOP programming technology and encapsulates some functions by Class. The engineers can determine the base dimension, height of soleplate, reinforcing steel bar numbers, and checking computation of the shearing strength and bending strength. The post-processing part is designed to plot construction drawings and form computing sheet.By performing the designing of an actual project with the CAD software developed by author, it is shown that the software can be in favor of improving the efficiency and meet the demand of engineering. |
