A road surface roughness test system based on notebook computer is designed and realized in this paper. The system installed on a test jeep is suitable for the road surface roughness measurement for all kinds of road, especially for high-grade road. Its features are high precision, high speed and without contacting. Since there is no high technology product in this field in our country, the development of this system is original, which can fill the vacancy. The system utilizes International Roughness Index (IRI) as the parameter of road surface roughness measurement. Hardware system takes notebook computer as the core, adopts high precision high-speed data acquisition card, advanced laser distance measurement technology, acceleration sensing technology, photo- electricity sensing technology, etc. Software system takes multiple thread mechanism under Windows as the kernel, regards object oriented programming (OOP) language Borland C++ Builder as the developing environment, establishes a real time test system on the basis of software for the data acquisition card. The conception, design and realization of the system are presented in detail in the paper. After debugging and testing on roads many times, it is indicated that all parts of the system work well. Data and results have been obtained from the site test. On this basis, the system will be perfected further. |
