With the rapid development of pavement construction and transportation industry, the total mileage of highway has already ranked second in the world. It is necessary to upgrade the asphalt pavement surface detecting equipment generally so that such numerous highway resources are maintained properly. The roughness detection instrument for asphalt pavement surface is one of the most important detecting equipment, which can quantificational appraise, check and control project quality; therefore, their application provide accurate direction for pavement maintaining decision-making and maintaining fund distributing.Based on studying roughness detection technique for asphalt pavement surface home and abroad sufficiently, according to measurement accuracy low and speed slow of roughness detection equipment for asphalt pavement surface at present, combining with the functional requirement and technology index of Hubei province traffic project, whose title is "the research of laser detection technique and equipment for traveling performance of asphalt pavement surface", The dissertation propose.the integer scheme of detecting equipment based on laser triangle measure technique, accomplish the building of integer truss and the research of measures principle of roughness detection instrument for asphalt pavement surface, Having implemented the method of partition function module, focuses on the design of hardware and software of roughness detection instrument for asphalt pavement surface.Firstly, the dissertation introduces theory foundation of roughness detection instrument for asphalt pavement surface, research the four kind detecting method such as static vertical section, dynamic vertical section, reaction kind, subjectivity estimate, for the roughness of asphalt pavement surface, accomplish the algorithm design of assess index for the roughness of asphalt pavement surface.Secondly, among the hardware design of roughness detection instrument for asphalt pavement surface, the dissertation concisely introduces the laser distance measurement module, acceleration measurement module, the Doppler radar speed measurement module, data acquisition and control module, accomplish the selections of corresponding sensor, A/D converter, single-chip and the design of outer measurement and conversion circuit.Thirdly, among the software design of roughness detection instrument for asphalt pavement surface, the dissertation introduces two parts of lower and toper machine programming.
