Multi-agent-based Virtual Manufacturing Technology Research

The research of Virtual manufacturing enabling technology based on multi-agent aimed at establishing the network support system to improve the rapid responsibility of manufacture enterprise. By the analysis of the function of agent, this research firstly studied the structure of agent and it's definition of BDI (belief, desire, intension) model. The BDI model is the base of agent to feel the environment change, to imply and to action. This paper also study the communication of multi-agent, by which multi-agent can deal with the hard question and can constructer different system freely and fast according to different task. Then, based on the multi-agent network supporting system, this paper studied the VM(virtual manufacture) enabling technology. It defined the 5 types function agent by design the action, deduce rule and status list of agent. These agents compose the MAS (multi-agent system) that can simulate the process of manufacturing. The enabling tools based on agent is also studied including structure define, implement method and application model.
