Agent Technologies Based On CORBA For Distributed Directory Service

With the development of network technology, the Internet gradually goes beyond the simple scope of the network model, and becomes a new standard of applications. The increase in the number of users, the unceasing accumulation of network resources, and the massive network sharing data make the management of different data sources have a great influence on the effective application of network resources. People need to handle a large number of distributed resources. How to transparently organize the network resources and effectively locate the sharing resources becomes an urgent issue requiring to be solved. Directory service technologies effectively solve the emergence of a variety of network information for the effective management, and has been used in information dissemination, network equipment management, network security, and other aspects.A CORBA-based distributed directory service agent model is proposed and its implementation technologies are discussed after studying the X.500 directory services model and analyzing the shortage of the existing directory services system. This paper also clarifies the advantages of the CORBA-based distributed application modeling by analyzing the process of modeling. The most operation based on directory service is query, so the directory service agent model based on replication can effectively improve the efficiency of queries and provide data recovery functions. Based on the mechanism of replication, a directory parsing algorithm is provided. This algorithm is able to reduce the network expenses caused by requests.The directory service methods used in this paper under the distributed environment are proved to be effective through the practical application and have some reference value for all sectors of the directory services applications.
