Based on its structural characteristics and working process, the Fault Auto-diagnosis System of Vacuum Resin Shot Dosing Equipment is developed in this paper.The function of real-time monitoring on its working state and auto-diagnosis of itsfaults is accomplished basically, thus the reliability and flexibility of the equipmentbeing enhanced greatly, the dosing quality of work-pieces being ensured and thefinancial gain being secured as well.The faults of Vacuum Resin Shot Dosing Equipment occurring frequently in itsoperation are classified in this paper firstly. Then the formation mechanisms of thesefaults are analyzed deeply, by which the theoretical preparation for the foundation offault diagnosis mathematical model is carried out.Then, with the rationale of fault fuzzy diagnosis, the author establishes theVacuum Resin Shot Dosing Equipment's mathematical model of fault fuzzy diagnosisthat relates its working parameters obtained by various sensors with its actual workingstates. By means of this model, the working states of Vacuum Resin Shot DosingEquipment may be identified and its faults may be diagnosed.Subsequently, the software and hardware realization of the mathematical modelis discussed in detail. The sensor used to detect the working state of the unidirectionalvalve wholly is developed, and other sensors are chosen according as the structuralcharacteristics of Vacuum Resin Shot Dosing Equipment and the precisionrequirement of the system. And these sensors' signals are adjusted to normative onesso that the following circuit can dispose them. In order to enhance the flexibility ofthe system and meet the need for expansion of its functions hereafter, two-gradesystem consisting of PC-586 host computer and secondary STD V40-Ⅱprocessor isconstituted, and the programs utilized on collection and disposition of data, analysisand diagnosis of faults, giving alarm and showing related information are worked outrespectively, forming the Fault Automatic Diagnosis System of Vacuum Resin ShotDosing Equipment ultimately.At last, through the adequate experiments, the system is demarcated, and itsreliability, sensitivity, and veracity of faulty diagnosis are verified. Proved by the facts,the system reaches design requirements and satisfies customers' needs basically.
