The health of the human body is closely related to the sleep, and many health problems, which occur during sleep stages, cannot be discovered in time and miss the best treatment opportunity. The traditional sleep monitoring system needs people to wear a variety of sensors, this affects people’s sleep mentality and the monitoring results are not accurate. At the same time, people cannot have a good understanding of their sleep quality. So it is extremely important to adopt a method with the characteristics of practicability, portability to monitor the sleep process of people and determine the sleep quality of them.The sleep monitoring system which designed by the article is based on PVDF. The main jobs of the system are as follows:1. The layered architecture of the system includes the data acquisition module, the server and mobile client. The data acquisition module completes the acquisition of physiological parameters and the data preprocessing. The server is used for receiving data, processing data and saving data. And the mobile app shows the sleep quality of users.2. For the data acquisition module, the article uses PVDF sensors to collect the signal of heart rate, breathing, and other parameters. This paper also selects AD7895-3 chip to achieve the design of ADC and the interface circuit with the Raspberry Pi. The data are sent to the server after preprocessing. The purpose of preprocessing is to get the heart rate, the respiration rate, the number of sleep apnea by using the physiological signal processing algorithm based on CSI.3. The server consists of three modules. The data receiving module is used for receiving and decoding data. The data processing module completes the evaluation of the sleep quality. This paper uses an artificial-intelligent sleep stage method to analyze the data which are preprocessed and evaluates the sleep quality of the sleepers combining the PNQ questionnaire. Data storage module is used to store user’s information and the sleep physiological parameters.4. The design of the mobile app is used to show user’s sleep quality.System test shows that the heart rate and the respiration rate which are monitored by the system are consistent with the actual ones. And the system shows excellent performance comparing with the wearable device.
