Sleep apnea syndrome is a common multiple sleep disorders which not only affects the quality of sleep, but also causes damage on human cardiovascular, kidney, organs and it may increase the risk of sudden death at night. Now commonly used in medical sleep monitoring system should not be used in the ordinary family, because it has the defects of complicated operation and so on. Therefore the design of the household portable sleep monitoring device is not only convenient for the user to monitor their sleep for a long time, but also can provide the basis for the diagnosis of the disease.This thesis has a brief overview on the history and development trend of home sleep monitoring technology and puts forward a kind of intelligent device based on the theory of liquid vibration, which has the function of physiological information detection. The main contents are as follows:The basic theoretical research of liquid vibration method. Human respiration, heart rate, snoring physiological processes will bring different levels of liquid vibration signals, then we can obtain related physiological signals through the vibration signals.The design of the sensing device. The system is mainly composed of a liquid sensing device, PC tube and two acrylic plates and a pressure sensor. One end of the tube is seal, and the other end is connected to the sensor. The sensor will transfer the vibration signal into a voltage signal to obtain the physiological signals.Hardware design. According the different frequencies of breathing, heart rate and snoring to design the analog filter amplifier circuit; and design the peripheral circuit of PIC18F452 microcontroller.The software programs. Writing programs for respiration, heart rate and snoring signals data processing, alarm module and display module.Finally, the experimental results show that the system is stable and can complete the detection of human respiration, heart rate and snoring without affecting the user's sleep. The alarm module can wake up patient or his family when the patient occurs sleep disorders to reduce mortality occurs during sleep. The system solves the complexity issues of traditional sleep monitoring system, and it is important to the home healthcare industry.
