PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) piezoelectric film is new a kind of macromolecule polymers sensing material, which has strong piezoelectric characteristic. By using its piezoelectric characteristics, a variety of sensors have been developed to meet the different measurement requirements, which has already been one of the focuses of the modern research. This paper studied the sampling, processing and analysis system of physiological signal base on the PVDF piezoelectric thin film senor.In this article, three different PVDF sensors are used to design a physiological signal detection system through analysis the structure and piezoelectric principle of PVDF piezoelectric film. The system can achieve collection and test of physiological signals such as pulse, heart sounds and blood pressures; during the process of testing physiological signals, the collected physiological signals data can be stored in SRAM (Static RAM) simultaneously, meanwhile the parameters such as the periods and the amplitude can be displayed on PC by Matlab programming through serial communication. The results show that it is feasible to use sensor made of PVDF to detect physiological signal.
