Operating room is the place partial concentration for surgery, where a lot of surgery has been done every day. Our hospital which is level3first-class provincial comprehensive, do more than25,000operations per year. Abundant surgery material is concentrated in the secondary warehouse of operating room. There are thousands of operation consumables in and out every day. It is a great trouble to management the warehouse such as:consumables inventory acquisition, return, inventory, statistics, inquiry and purchase material. Multifarious work completion rely on artificial which is time-consuming and poor-accurate. Materials can’t timely supplied due to untimely inventory. Inevitably, there will be material expiration and damage for uncommonly used materials backlog. Ineffective management of outbound and consumable give rise to great loss and waste of materials. Unfaithful amount of material usage difficult the accurately purchase plan, which always turns up excess or lack is not match to the partial information construction. Therefore, it is an urgent request of the operating room to construct a modern informatization material management system.With the development of science and technology, computer information technology is fast-changing. Information technology has provided a more effective and convenient life for us. Seizing the historical opportunity, making full use of the achievements of science and technology, taking the lift of information technology, and applying information technology in the medical field to manage our work process make our work more convenient and effective, which lead to the hospital staff and patients to fully enjoy the fruit of science and technology. This article introduced the current situation of hospital information construction at home and abroad and the thesis research background and significant at first. Then using software technology analyze and discuss management of the operating room consumable. In business analysis, this paper analyzes on the existing management problems and the original business process, and describes the changed optimize business process such as warehousing, picking, return, inventory, inventory query, material purchase plan.In system function analysis, through case analysis and the way of use case the paper express the function of system, and describe the system’s overall function package diagram and the subroutine package diagram of warehousing, picking, given return, inventory, inventory query, material purchase plan. The thesis deals with the data on every function of the system needed. given entity class diagram, and set up the database structure also. Finally, thesis summarizes the research and analysis, and discusses the further work.
