Functional Design And Application Of Communication Resource Maintenance Management System

With continuous development of national economic, construction and maintenance of communication network has become more and more important. The number of Mobile and broadband network customers is fast increasing together with expansion of city scale and growth of population. Especially in recent years, fiber communication techniques has stimulated the application of3G and4G techniques, and scale of communication network has also been explosively increasing. Meanwhile, the disadvantages of present old inefficient management system has been revealing, which makes current management system of communication network maintenance inadaptable with the requirement of modern city management. Therefore, a new comprehensive management system of communication resources is very necessary to improve informatization and scitification in communication maintenance management.Based on high technical means such as network, database, GIS and GPS, a maintenance management system of whole network is designed and established in this study. Such system will contain five parts as data update, data inquiry, facility management, supervision management and policy decision management.With author’s engagement in communication resources management system of Guangdong Province, the proposed system is an integrated system with related supervision, inquiry and evaluation. At the end, the author also makes evaluation and application analysis of the system.
