The System Of The Regiment Level Communication Equipment Maintenance And Management

The army construction is becoming increasingly information-based due to the fast development of the modern high-tech. The computer technology is one of the essential core technologies in the army modernization. The database technology has played an important role in collecting information, analysizing information, sharing information and providing the basis for the commander in making policy. In the daily management of the army, making the best use of the database technology can save resources of manpower and material, improve the management and greatly increase the battle effectiveness of army.The communication equipment maintenance and management system designed in this dissertation is actually the application of the database technology in the equipment maintenance and management of the regiment level communication troop. The two-layer C/S structure and the ADO technology which possess much higher security are used in the design. The development tools are the powerful database development software-Visual C++6.0 and SQL Server 2000. The system is build on the base of the existing LAN of army. When the system is accomplished, the maintenance and management of the communication equipment will become more automatic, real time, effective and comprehensive.The design of the communication equitment maintenance and management system is according to the basic principle of the software engineering. The dissertation mainly discusses the requirement analysis of the system and the design of the database, which include the chart of data flow, the function structure of the software and the software implementation.
