Intelligent Equipment is the direction of the of China’s future manufacturing equipment, which combines technologies in numerical control, network communication and equipment maintenance. Nowdays, global manufacturing industry gradually transfers to the industry of equipment maintenance, that is to say, building equipment cloud services platform combines the thinking of data sharing is the key to enhance the core competitiveness of local equipment. Therefore, a remote monitoring and maintenance system of Powder Metallurgic Forming Machine has been proposed and the framework of its cloud services platform is constructed.Firstly, based on the working principle and the control demands of a typical Powder Forming Machine, the prototype of the remote monitoring system is proposed. Secondly, an early warning mechanism of forming quality is applied to help find the molding quality degradation problem during running time, an improved KMP matching algorithm has been put forward according to the interference in the process of the communication between the GPRS Module and the STM32 system. Thirdly, based on the modularization method, the hardware and the software design of Embedded Intelligent Terminal Minimum System, Communication Module, Data Collecting Module and Remote Maintenance Sevice platform are deloveped through RealView MDK and Visual Studio 2008.Finally, main functions of Intelligent Monitoring and Maintenance System have been tested respectively and then combined together with Powder Metallurgic Forming Machine for further debugging.The prototype of Intelligent Monitoring and Maintenance System has been developed and applied on the Powder Metallurgic Forming Machine. The basic fuction of monitoring and maintenance has been realized which is valuable for further practical applications.
