A Study On The Image Of "State" And "Home" In CCTV Spring Festival Evening

China Central Television Spring Festival gala is CCTV held to celebrate thelunar New Year in the annual lunar New Year’s Eve. Starting from the first SpringFestival gala held in1983, it has spent32years with us on New Year’s Eve, andgradually become a new folk custom during the Spring Festival. The Spring Festivalgala has so long history and strong influence, so ordinary people focus on it, andacademics pay more attention to it. Currently the study on the Spring Festival galafocused on several aspects of the party’s ritual, the party’s ideological construct, thecultural significance of the party and the problems of the party. But these studies didnot respond the basic phenomenon that for the Spring Festival gala, common peopleis "scold every year and every year to see” and country is "scolded every year everyyear to hold”. In other words the existing studies do not answer this question that whypeople look at it, and why country insist on holding it in the case of poorcommunication effect.On the basis of Spring Festival, this paper analyze why “home” become animportant image of the party, and how the party to shape it. Then it analyzes the“country” variety show in the party and how the state ideology replaces the traditionalcustoms. In the final, the paper analyzes the realistic demands of “country”,“home”mirror intertwined.After analysis, we found that "home" has gradually become one of the mainimages of the gala shape, and "Country" is hidden in the back of "home”. Throughreplace “home” with “country”, so that people feelings of “home” extended to the"country" recognition and praise. Since ancient times, the Chinese have strong heavyfamily concept, and the Spring Festival means reunion in the home. The SpringFestival gala on New Year’s Eve should both comply with the festival atmosphere,and meet the reunion of the emotional need. Country insists on do Spring Festivalgala has political and market interests. The country needs such a broad mass base topromote national ideology, enhance the cohesion of people, inheriting Chinesecivilization, to the Chinese people with a strong sense of national identity; while reaching the purpose of building the value system of the media responsibility.
