Investigation Report On Network Public Opinion On "Yuan

On January the fourth,2013, a living building in Chengguan Town, Lankao County of Henan Province was on fire. Seven orphans were killed in the fire. Their adopted mother, Yuan Lihai is called "loving mother" by the natives. After this event happened, different kinds of media went there to report this disaster and people all over China talked about it intensely, especially on the internet.The thesis tries to analyze the role of opinion online in the social public event,"Yuan Lihai Event". It regards Qiangguo Forum of "People.com.cn" as its sample and tries to do content analysis of its posts related to "Yuan Lihai Event". It uses four frames:date and quantity frame, theme frame, opinion frame and emotion frame to analyze the sample and summarizes different topics of opinion online in different stages after this event happened. And then it tries to combine reports of media to analyze the relationship of opnions online and reports in media. On the basis above, it may study the role and function of opinion online in this special event.
