The Media Of The Strategy Of Strengthening The Army Of Science And Technology And The Present Situation Of The Military Science And Technology Edition (2007-2011)

The PLA Daily is the official newspaper of the Central Military Commission(CMC). It is highly respected for its importance, rich information channel, precise and appropriate contents with readers all over the world. Its "Military Science&Technology" section mainly reports preceding military theory, achievement application, talents publicity and knowledge introduction of military science and technology, therefore, it has obvious authority and representation in analyzing and reflecting the policies of military science and technology. In other words, the CMC carries out the policy publicity and direction guidance of military science&technology strategy through the PLA Daily, as well as publishes the related information and guides the related research field through this "Military Science&Technology" section.In order to investigate the major fields, trends of subjects, and the methods of publicity, this study analyzed the theme and form of the articles in "Military Science&Technology" section of the PLA Daily published from2007to2011, with by using the Content Analysis Method, a quantitative analysis tool. It discussed the publicity framework of military science and technology policy and the form of guiding the public voice, e.g.,"what to say" and "how to say"There are four sections with an introduction in this report. The Literature Review section elaborated the Content Analysis Method and the background and status of news dissemination of military science and technology, and introduced the mission and function of the "Military Science&Technology" section in the PLA Daily. The Research Design section mainly designed from the object of study design, research methods, coded statistical methods on the research methods used in this article, research perspective, statistic tools. In the Result and Discussion section, the content and expressing forms of the "Military Science&Technology" section were discussed based on analyzing the articles published on the "Military Science&Technology" section in PLA Daily from2007to2011. In the Conclusion and Outlook section, we reviewed the analysis result, and threw out the innovation and boundedness of this study and some suggestions on further research.
