SAP Import And Export Bonded Management Localization Solutions

Today China is playing a role of world factory which have many manufacturing enterprises. Bonded processing is a kind of preferential processing pattern which allow tax-free for product processing, assembling and export under customs supervision. Besides to set up export processing zones, network supervision was vigorously promoted by customs department. China electronic port system and customs internal management system was used in customs supervision, but for enterprises, they usually need to improve bonded import and export management by develop customs declaration system combining with its ERP system. SAP ERP as an advanced Enterprise Resource Planning system, was widely implemented in many large manufacturing enterprises in China. But till now, SAP does not provide a standard solution for Bonded import and export localization business. Many enterprises encountered problems in this kind of business, they usually tried to meet the requirement by configuration in SAP system or develop a third-party system. This usually leads to issues like mismanaged bonded goods, import and export data inconsistence, unable to cooperate with customs supervision and unnecessary overdue tax.Based on the above background, this Paper will use software engineering related knowledge, unify bonded import and export system implementation in A company, conduct following research. First we described the background and contents of this paper, then analyzed customs policy and standardization of online bonded supervision, enterprise bonded processing management, and also the gap and shortage of localized solution in SAP NetWeaver platform. Then we conduct requirement analysis, overall design, standard configuration and sub-module function design. The emphasis is to consider generality and security for solution and interface. And then we descried the detailed design and implementation for every sub-module, including the configuration, data dictionary, difficulty and key point in development, and also go-live results. Finally, we did a summary and prospects of this paper.
