As the pharmaceutical industry tightens its warehouse management in recent years, and the continuous GMP standard renewal, there still exists many shortfalls in the warehouse information management systems currently in place. Due to the decentralization of warehouse storage, pallet, forklift and other equipments, the lack of an effective positioning method, there exist great difficulties in the management of warehouses. The occurrence of disparities between information system records and actual warehouse stocks can be high. Due to the similarity in packaging, appearance and name of many ingredients used in manufacturing, human errors are usually unavoidable. Moreover, in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The requirement for production safety supervisory is very high. Any human error can lead to production accidents. Therefore, to construct a high accuracy positioning, on site verification warehouse information management system. Has become one of the most important topics for the pharmaceutical industry in recent times.This report firstly analyses the shortages of current warehouse information systems in use, and clarifies the core functions of these systems used by pharmaceutical company. On such basis, further analysis is presented on the framework and system functions of the asp.net web application.Using RFID technics to analyze each client system’s design and implementation.One of the focus is on the discussion of RFID related PDA,Location of materials System and so on.
