The rapid development of information technologies is boosting up the modernization teaching of China’s education industry. Popularization and application of campus network in China’s education industry is developing at a stable and high speed and order to meet the needs of modern teaching. The campus-oriented network equipment monitoring system retains the advantages and amends the disadvantages of the current network management technology, which is designed to work with the current campus network equipment. The campus-oriented network equipment monitoring system can protect the campus network system’s healthy growth. This thesis, first, reveals the existing problems of the campus network equipment monitoring system based on the needs and the status quo of the network device management system, then point out the neccesarity to design the ampus-oriented network equipment monitoring system. Second, the thesis analyzes the functional orientation, the main flow, core functionality and real-time data needs of the "campus-oriented network equipment monitoring system"; Moreover, it clearly presents the design idea for the "campus-oriented network equipment monitoring system" from seven aspects:namely the general structure, software structure, pattern and development technology, equipment status acquisition subsystem, equipment abnormal information receiving subsystem, equipment abnormal information disposal system, the user order response system. Among them, the state of equipment acquisition subsystem periodic acquisition operation, real-time information collection, acquisition project and realization are well elaborated. And the thesis puts forward its own unique insights, especially in response to user instruction system remote control technology and equipment status acquisition subsystem periodic collection technology. Finally, the thesis evaluates the effectiveness of the proposed design by the system implementation.
