The Design And Implement Of Monitoring System For Campus Network

Informalization is an inevitable tendency of the development ofeducation. However, security problem, from exterior or interior, isbecoming more and more obviously with the forward advancement ofeducation information. It is an urgent task for education administrativedepartment and schools to adopt some suitable protection and managementtechnique and product and to get some relative technology service. Hence,it has great significance to design and develop a network monitoringsystem which can fit for computer lab of schools presently.On the basis of thorough analysis and investigation of requirements ofschool computer lab presently, the paper design and implement a networkinformation filtering system which integrates function of management,monitoring and control. Based on Microsoft Visual Studio.NET platformand MySQL database, a series of functions are implemented, includesystem management, remote message, key words filtering, websitewhitelist and blacklist filtering, remote process monitoring, singlecomputer video scouting, screen polling, remote shutup, restart, lock,unlock, and so on. The design and implement of database, analysis ofnetwork communication protocols and custom encapsulation of networkdata packet are discussed and studied in detail in the paperThe system provides user-friendly interface, easy operations, safetyinsurance and high efficiency. The strong function of remote monitoringstudent PC can not only save massive human resource, material resourceand financial resource, but also can quicken the process of educationinformation, purify campus network environment, and protect students'body and psychology healthy.
