With the continuous development of Web2.0technology, especially Facebook, Twitter detonated social media wave and profound social change, we have entered into an era of social media. In Chinese, emerging media sharing site as the representative of the SNS social networking site, blog, video, not only changed the way we receive information, but also gives us manufacturing and distributing information of power, more importantly they change the individual self-expression and interpersonal interaction, and the micro-blog and Micro message social media as the representative is triggered a national chase fashion. At the same time, because of the rapid rise of social media,social elements become the basic attributes of the Internet, traditional media in the digital transformation in order to retain the audience, fight for survival, not only in his own website adding gregarious element, or even directly into the social media arms, will himself as a social networking platform common content producers and publishers, effects of different new media come together with other users. As Mcluhan said,"a media become another media content", in the Internet age either traditional media or individual user will become the network media content.Thus, the new media to social media as a representative of the influence is grow with each passing day, and caused the Internet technology and the concept of innovation, and ultimately affect the personal life concept and behavior change and includes traditional media, traditional industry transformation of production mode. Key is discussed in this paper the relationship between media technology and people, so to pay more attention to social media have on individual behavior:the network society is constructed by numerous significant symbols the society of the spectacle, and social media different itself can form different media scene, so in the virtual world of the individual show a different behavior modes according to different will environment, which play different roles, and the choice of social media types reflects the individual’s own value judgment and identity. Therefore, this paper will respectively symbols from the role theory of interaction theory point of view to explore individual play in different roles in social media, and analyze the causes of individual role change and its impact on the identification, in order to show the relationship between new media technology and people.The content of this paper is based on the analysis of micro-blog and Micro message users of different variables, including the name, portrait, forwarding and original number and content of data statistics and analysis, it points out the differences between different social media users use and share content. Careful analysis in recent years, China’s social media will be found, more and more social networking sites began to appear the tendency, at the same time, the same user are presented in different media platform state has the distinction. According to this study, users in the Micro message on the same background and acquaintance network, which plays the role of self display, is also very high interactivity and equality; and Sina micro-blog although it is self display platform, but the user has played the role of followers and fans and a voice micro-blog account as the center, to serve as a platform for gathering and sharing information, micro-blog although the tendency of open platform has begun to show hierarchical. Thus it can be seen, the different social media individual playing different roles, showing the different self, this is not only because of the influence of the structure of media and the properties of the produced media scene on the personal behavior, and is generated by the media environment which media identity and self identity, social identity interaction results. And play different roles in different virtual environment, the formation of these roles is out of the constraints of society, which will bring the image separation and self identity crisis, so that the whole society is discretized into tribal society is composed of a circle.
