Research On Digital Archival Resources Display Of Municipal Archival Websites In China

With the all-round acceleration of archives information construction,the in-depth development of digital archives system and the continuous propulsion of archival information resources sharing platform,an increasing number of archives using service need to be finished through archival websites.Digital archival resources are the source of archival websites providing archives using service,its display's quantity,quality and effect are the "troika" of the archival websites' digital archival resources service,which,to a certain extent,determine the social impact and the future development potential of the archival websites.Due to the late start time,China's provincial cities(hereinafter referred to as municipal)comprehensive archives archival websites' construction level is different,and the regional development gap is large.This paper focuses on the digital archival resources displayed at the municipal comprehensive archives websites,and investigates its present situation.First,this paper investigates the display quantity and quality of the sampling of 73 municipal archival websites: from the collection of the total,the digital rate,the display quantity and the proportion of the display quantity in the total collection this four angles to survey the display quantity;this paper establishes the display quality evaluation index of the municipal archival websites' digital archival resources,and from sufficiency,expertise and ease of use this three dimensions to evaluate the display quality.Then,from the user's point of view,this paper designs Questionnaire on the Display Effect of Digital Archival Resources in the Municipal Archival Websites,and surveys users' satisfaction of the digital archival resources' display.The survey results show that China's municipal archival websites digital archival resources display works have archived gratifying performances,but there are still a lot of problems,such as insufficient in quantity,not excellent in quality and far from satisfaction in effect.Finally,according to the existing problems,combined with the current development of municipal archival websites,this paper puts forward some suggestions to further improve the digital archival resources' display of municipal archival websites in China.From continuing to promote the opening of archives and completing the database of digital archival resources these two aspects,this paper proposes that,based on the quantity,to broaden the breadth of archival websites' digital archival resources display;From using the new technology to integrate the digital archival resources and building the composite retrieval system to improve the retrieval function these two aspects,this paper proposes that,take the quality as the core,mining the depth of archival websites' digital archival resources display;From setting up a user-oriented service concept and framing online digital archival resources user database these two aspects,this paper proposes that,take service as a fundamental,enhance the brightness of archival websites' digital archival resources display.
