As a storage and transportation carrier of clean energy hydrogen, hydrogen storage material has been widespread concern. Since the21st century, its research and development has become a worldwide issue. China and many countries have invested heavily in its research and development. However, the lack of gas-solid reaction test system, our country has not yet developed a good test performance and high precision automated test systems, which in turn restricts the progress of hydrogen storage materials and related research. On the basis of domestic and foreign major gas-solid reaction test system based on a broad understanding, this paper aims to develop a gas-solid reaction test system software based on virtual instrument, and developed a good test performance and high precision automated gas-solid reaction test system.This paper first introduces the virtual instrument technology and Labview software, application and research of gas-solid reaction test system, the significance and the main content of this paper.Secondly, introduce the gas-solid reaction test system. Select the appropriate test method (volume method) and set up the system model based on understanding the performance test content and method of hydrogen storage materials. And describes major components of the gas-solid reaction test system, including the vacuum system, temperature control system, temperature and pressure test section, control and implementation program, gas source, reserve chamber, sample chamber and data acquisition unit. Test some components before building the system, including temperature transmitters, temperature sensors, pressure sensors, grating isolated driver, solenoid valves, relays and sample chamber.Thirdly, for gas-solid reaction test system software design was described in detail. Based on a true understanding of hydrogen and other gases in the gas equation of state, write a program to calculate the true density of the gas. Calculated the density of gases at different temperature and pressure through the program, and compare with the standard density from the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology. And then, write a program through Labview software enables software systems and hardware systems combined. On the basis of the understanding of the correlation curves formed, write PCT (Pressure-Composition-Temperature) test procedure, kinetics test procedure, TPD (Temperature Programmed Desorption) test procedure, marching type vacuumize procedure, and active material procedure and so on.Finally, through the procedures measured the PCT curves, kinetics curves and TPD curves of hydrogen storage materials, such as LaNis, LaNi4.25Al0.75, La0.5Mg0.5Ni4.25Al0.75and nano carbon, etc. Found and solved the problems of test system through testing process. Find the most reasonable parameter values of front panel of the procedure through repeated experimental investigation. Test the leakage rate and analysis of relevant factors affecting the measured curves. Additionally,the uncertainty of molar amount of gas in this system is evaluated to optimiz the gas-solid reaction test system and system software. |
