With the deepening of the study of Anti-Japanese War,the study of news history during the period of Anti-Japanese War is gradually refining?Treating GuangXi official newspaper as object of study,this thesis exerts news propaganda theory,aiming to summarize the basic situation of military service propaganda of Guangxi official newspapers from information control,object of propaganda,way of propaganda,influence of propaganda,and analyzing the highlights of propaganda which can be referenced for the news media now.First of all,the study makes a brief overview of news propaganda theory by introducing the definition and content of news propaganda as well as its four representations.Secondly,the paper will describe object of study,several official newspapers published in Guangxi.Nextly,on the perspective of information control,the thesis discusses how Nationalist government and New Gui Clique influence the content of newspaper;on the perspective of object,expounding that how Guangxi newspapers propagandize military service to recruiting object,soldier family and common audience;on the perspective of propaganda way,analyzing four manifestations:conveying,explaining,persuasion and promotion;on the perspective of influence,depicting the effect of military service propaganda of Guangxi official newspapers from the achievement of military service and good treatment to family.Finally,the study makes a conclusion that Nationalist government and New Gui Clique make military service propaganda through official newspaper on the period of Anti-Japanese War,which enable local people to perceive the importance of military service,so that promoting military service smoothly,accelerating the victory of Anti-Japanese War.
