Unemployment Insurance Information System Design Based On The Transaction Middleware Cics

The reformation and development of UI (Unemployment Insurance) in Shanghai has a leading position in the China. Shanghai's UI used to be only life relief for the unemployed, but now has become a comprehensive insurance system, which offers not only life relief, but also job training and startup capital to all citizens in Shanghai. But the UI system of dispersed and isolated subsystems could not satisfy the requirements of extensibility, flexibility and centralized management. The new Shanghai UI system with transaction middleware CICS technology, has highly effective management mechanism of transaction and standard system interface, and provides solution for the concurrent processing and load balance. It enabled the UI center of Shanghai to manage service logic and data centrally, and improved work efficiency and data accuracy. The expandability and maintainability of system made it easier to get the changes in UI policy.It is analyzed the current situation and problem in the Shanghai UI system, emphasized the necessity of adopting the CICS in developing Shanghai UI system. Based on it, considering the implementation of CICS in the Shanghai UI system as example, it is firstly analyzed how to design the communication interface and make use of the server switch in clients of CICS, that the UI system could adapt the complex environment of clients and realize the concurrent processing and load balance. Secondly, it is discussed how to realize the service logic dynamic update by packaging it base on the feature of CICS management. At last, it is briefly summarized the Shanghai UI system of CICS. By compared with other similar systems, it is discussed the advancement of CICS and the future development of the Shanghai UI system.
