| With the development of the internet, more and more people watch television programming with video-on-demand. Many citys have experimengtal video-on-demand system, but for the digital television video on demand system on HFC (Hybrid Fiber Coaxial) network., it is has a potential market.The software is a part of the VOD (Video On Demand) system projects built on the HFC network.The interactive functions of the RTSP (Real-time Stream Protocol) software provides powerful technical support for VOD system insteration to achieve the interactive services on demand through cable TV.Studied in detail of the project background and interrelated knowledge, the divided modules of the various functions are designed to enable it to run on the server of Linux system, full ideas are as follows:First of all, from the introduction of the whole system structure of digital TV video on demand, we can easily understand which role the designed software played in VOD system Providing RTSP services that belongs to the control part for users , the software need the support of other services,such as databases access,programs systems.Then, by studing the RTSP protocol and the method, we determine the available methods and parameters for the services of the VOD system project,and choose the appropriate parameter-based for the system.Finally, each module of RTSP server software is designed and the code details of all modules are complied,and the design of multi-threaded enhance the expansibility of the software.The software's design implement the interactive functions of digital television system.Mainly functions tocommunicate withnthe set-top box can also interact with the video server to response immediately for point-to-play, fast forward or fast backward .Access to the database server to detect the presence of the program, and the legitimate network user authentication, account balance inquiries. |
