| With the advancement in modern technology and the enhanced awareness of security, the demand for video surveillance system is growing. Digital Vedio Server as a surveillance system raises a lot of concerns for people. Real-Time Stream Protocol provides a powerful technical support for network video surveillance system by applying the streaming media technology to achieve video data transmission. In this thesis, a solution of RTSP server in DVS system is presented. Detailed discussion and analysis of the RTSP server-related technologies and design will be presented. The main contents are as follows.In chapter 1, the background and the significance of the thesis are presented. The status and development trends of the video surveillance system and streaming media technology are introduced, and the content and structure of this thesis are outlined.In chapter 2, the related technologies of RTSP server system are discussed. A brief summary of the streaming media technology, RTSP, and RTP/RTCP will be given.In chapter 3, the design of RTSP server and its interaction with the client are described. The data structures and algorithms on RTSP server are introduced. The modules of real-time play, playback and audio intercom are described.In chapter 4, in view of the current network congestion problems with the congestion control mechanism, the inadequacy of AIMD algorithm and TFRC congestion control mechanisms are being analyzed. The design of the module for audio and video bit rate adjustment mechanism will be presented and the congestion control algorithm on RTSP server will also be explained in detail.In chapter 5, the testing of this system is introduced.In chapter 6, a summary of this design will be described and the prospects of the RTSP application will be given. |
