Telecommunications Cable Access Network Rehabilitation Project Research And Practice

Access network is an important part of telecommunication network. While the other parts of telecommunication network have been rapidly developing, the development of the access network is lagging behind. The development of access network has affected the entire telecommunication network development, so the significance of research of access network is obvious.The telecommunication cable access network systems of reconstruction regions in Pingshan before moving used copper cables. There is some irrationality in pre-planning of access network, which make a serious shortage of access network users, difficult to expansion, and can not meet the increase speed of users as well as integrated services needs. To meet the needs of users, the telecommunication cable access network systems of reconstruction regions in Pingshan should be planned reasonably to minimize the length of copper cables from ONU to client and ensure the access quality for users.This article makes a simple description about basic concept, structure, function and the trend of developing of access network. Then the current mainstream access network technology is discussed in detail. Based on the analysis of defects of the telecommunication cable access network systems of reconstruction regions in Pingshan before moving, two kinds of reconstruction plan are proposed. By comparing the national policy, technical point and economic point of the two plans, the PON technology is chosen here because it's mature, fast and stable. Next this article mainly studied on EPON technology and ZTE access network equipments which are used here.Subsequently, a new telecommunication cable access network system is designed according to the actual situation of Pingshan. Its structure is simple and technology is novel. The new system overcomes the shortage that exists in previous telecommunication cable access network system in Pingshan, reduces the distortion of transmission, also improves the telecommunication cable access network's operation effects and economic benefits to meet customers'needs.
