Dicom Image Processing Based On The Tcp / Ip Communication Process Design And Realization

The popularization of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine) not only offered high efficient service of storing and using image, but also established the foundation for the synthesis medical information management of hospitals including image information. So it is important to study on the display of DICOM medical image.This article describes the format and data encoding rules of DICOM medical image, followed by mainly introduces the display flow of image and its information. This paper also analyzes the structure of DCIOM file, and combines recent technique to complete the important functions, including decoding and displaying the DICOM file, and converting the DICOM format into BMP format. All the practices are based on VC++6. 0 platforms, we successfully realized the two functions above.As the results show, the methods studied in the paper can preferably realize the display of DICOM image and its information, and laying a foundation for the following study.With the rapid development of the computer and network technology, medical digital image communication is a new cross-subject based on computer network and medicine. DICOM standard, the high level network communication protocol in medical imaging, standardized the image exchange and operation implementation between medical systems using network.DICOM make it possible that the medical images produced by devices from different factory can be stored and transferred uniformly.In this paper, by analyzing DICOM protocol architecture model and its working mechanism, we design a DICOM network communication model based on TCP/IP, Paper described the layered idea for DICOM communication protocol implementation, the detailed architecture, implementation, and key technique in each layer.and realize this purpose based in windows system using Microsoft VC++6.0 DICOM image data transmission process from client to server.
