The Pacs System Dicom/hl7 Gateway Dicom Server

PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) is mainly used for solving such problems as archiving, showing,storing, communicating and management of the medical picture, etc. This system can save the consumption of film and cost, it can also improve the diagnoses effect and work efficiency, it is the inevitable trend of information-based development of the hospital in the future. I have studied the relevant standards of PACS(DICOM and HL7),designed and realized the DIC0M/HL7 gateway and DICOM server and provided the realizing method.Most work what the thesis did as follows: First, by analysing four type of data information what DICOM exchanged with HL7 the thesis explained the mechanism of information communicating between HIS/RIS and PACS and set the DICOM/HL7 gateway. It designed the arithmetic of parsing and constructing messages and realized exchanging the message of patient update ,doctor's order and dignoses with HIS/RIS and PACS. It realized the integration of HIS/RIS and PACS through the gateway. Second, it studied the format of coding, and the process of communication. By studying the standards it realized many DICOM services such as storing n querying/retrieving, MWL and MPPS, etc. The thesis taked use of the technology of computer communication and image processing in the process of construct based on OO(Object-Oriented)software modeling method. And it has opening and extensible characters because it was designed according to international stardards.
