The aim of software radio is to make a opened, modular, standardized and reconfigurable hardware platform and realize various communication functions use loading software. Modulation, demodulation and communication channel encoder is a crucial technology in wireless communication, their performance can contribute directly to communication system. QPSK has become the widely used modulation method of many wireless communication systems because of its outstanding advantages such as very high utilization rate of frequency bandwidth and flexible implement applicability in high speed rate data transmission. This paper studied mainly QPSK demodulator algorithm based on Multi-Core Computer and software radio, then realized modulator by software.This article describes the basic sampling theorem software radio, bandpass sampling theorem, theory of digital signal orthogonal transformation and digital mixing the basic theory of orthogonal transformation. This paper researched an proved QPSK orthogonality demodulation scheme based on software radio and multi-core computer which adopts the way of concerned demodulation. Analyzed and discussed the principles and methods of coding and viterbi decoding of convolutional codes, the principle of coding and decoding of Scrambler and differential Discussed the use of multi-core hardware platform multi-threading technology and software radio technology to achieve the received QPSK signal demodulation performance of the software and systems development to accelerate the bottleneck.On the basis of relevant algorithm, described implementation of each module of QPSK demodulator on multi-core computer, introduced system performance and test. Analysised Lack of realization of system, and given the methods of optimize system performance.
