Software radio is one of the important trends in wireless communication systems, the core idea is to adopt a common standard, modular hardware system, by loading a different system software to implement the various functions of the wireless communication. Software radio wireless communication system to enhance the flexibility and versatility, interconnection between systems and system upgrades will be very convenient. Currently, IF processing section is still the focus of the software radio research.IF processing section typically only a few channels, to increase the amount of information processed face, and the speed demand signal processing, in this paper, based on software radio theory, combined with today’s level of technology hardware and digital signal processing theory,practical, can be realized as a starting point, design of a multi-channel wideband digital signal processing system. CPCI bus architecture using, IF four onboard 3-channel wideband digital signal processing platform, maximum signal processing for 12 channels, each channel bandwidth of 20 MHz, 240 MHz maximum coverage. Each four-channel wideband digital IF signal processing platform from the main AD, FPGA, DSP and CPCI bus like. CPCI bus communication speed between more than 33 Mbyte / s. High-speed DSP and FPGA digital signal processing is completed, Lifting platforms programmability. Processing speed A / D devices 90 MHz. The system can be completed on the intermediate frequency 70 MHz, the bandwidth of the baseband signal processing and analysis of 20 MHz, demodulation.The main work:1. Inspection and ananysis the software radio theory, and is currently a software radio system can be realized;2. Learn and masert the universal broadband digital IF signal processing platform: Signal sampling theory,multirate signal processing,DUC/DDC,software radio platform hardware architecture,programmable logic device,ADC/DAC, FSK, FM and QPSK modulation and demodulation.3. Design and implement a multi-channel wideband digital IF signal processing system, include the introduction of the main components, detailed design of the multi-channel wideband digital IF signal processing system and process flow. You can achieve the same kind of wide-band signal(240MHz = 20 MHz * 12 channels) to identify, or three broadband segment(80MHz = 20 MHz * 4-channel) to identify different signals, practicality and strong expansibility.4. Achieve multiple demodulation in this multi-channel wideband digital IF signal processing system, such as FSK, FM and QPSK demodulation.Finally, the experimental verification(SNR=12dB, FSK, FM+QPSK demodulation no error).Research work is mainly based on the practical application,there are other software radio system has certain reference value. And further by FPGA and DSP related work, the more target signal can be analyzed and demodulation in this multi-channel wideband digital IF signal processing system, including fixed-frequency,hopping signals.
