With the coming of Internet age,which brings a tremendous amount of data to us,we urge to present a series of available methods to integrate and interpret the data.The semantics Web is an effective way,which makes the computers able to understand and process the Internet by adding semantics and relations to the data.The essential concept of semantics Web is Ontology,which can abstract the world into models to make them acceptable by computers.Nowadays,ontologies are almost stored in files,but in ability of processing data,the files are inferior to database.Thus,we present a storage schema to store ontology on database.The study is as follows:By analysis of the structure of ontology,we generalize it into three levels: basic concept,semantic relation and data manipulation.Design database structure according to the above three levels.The structure of the basic concept layer and the semantic relation layer is generated by the ontology's ER diagram.The structure of the data operation layer is generated by the mapping relation of data storage between ontology and database.Summarize the inference rules of the semantic relation layer and the data manipulation layer in ontology,then map the rules into triggers in the database.Implement the semantic relation layer's rules and data manipulation layer's rules in the form of triggers to ensure that the ontology reasoning mechanism is realized.Based on the consistency checking algorithm of description logic,this paper proposes a consistency check algorithm to verify whether the ontology is inconsistent when we transform ontology data into database data.Based on the design of the above storage schema,a system which can store domain ontology file in database completely with semantics is built.And the integrity,efficiency and convenience of the system and storage schema are verified by experiments of the system.
