The automatical product of intelligent residence basis which is driven by the high-tech precisely into the real era of digit, intelligence and network, makes family's effects as the social information terminal to be notable day by day. With the improvement of living life, people expect more and more smart home product and meanwhile also are looking forward more reliabal, economic, and environmental protection product.The background of this thesis is the proposal posted by the Kunming North Star Digital S&T Ltd, which is aiming fit the intelligent appliance into modern community service platform. After many times discussion and verification of the probability, our laboratory have finished the preparatory work for this project, including the related research and the experiment.This thesis analyze the current state and tendency of smart home control system in home and abroad. Pointing at problems of smart home product, thesis has always focused on the subject of reliability, economy and environmental protection, and has taked "the wireless control" as the master line. We use GPRS (long-distance) and ZigBee wireless sensor network (short-distance) to build the control system of smart home. The general design and details of modern community service platform and control system of smart home are given. ZigBee wireless sensor network is adopted to meet the short distance control and state monitor for different electrical equipment in families. Using the messaging function of GPRS module realizes remote control and state monitor. The thesis detailly relates its operating principle and the implement which adoptsμC/OS-II embedded real-time operation system as software platform and 32 bit ARM core processor LPC2294 as controlling chip that has low power and high reliability. The hardware design and software development of the functional module such as Submit/Dispatch of SMS, Man-machine interface, ZigBee wireless sensor networks, relay module are realized under "modularization-whole assembling" idea.Combining with above the design of control section and the design of testing section (my partner has done that) and under the laboratory conditions, the entire control can run normally by testing. Its rate of controlling correct has reached 98%. Experemental results show that the control system of smart home is convenient, universal and responsing quick, environmental protection and economic very much. Hence, we think that "the control section of wireless smart home based on ARM and ZigBee" has meet the design's request and anticipate goal.
