Production of new-type dry cement is a kind of complex Physical and chemical reaction process with such properties as great inertia, pure lag and non-linearity. With the complex and Varied system working and difficulty obtaining the exact mathematical model, in cement industry exist the common phenomena such as low efficiency, high energy consumption and unstable quality.With the improved production modernization, cybernation in the cement mills has kept improving and nowadays DCS system has been applied more and more widely in production control. However, considering that the distributed control system (DCS) of PID control strategy of the bus in situ is no more the best control way and there exist a problem of bad stability and that the process of cement production is that of a physical reaction with the properties such as great inertia, pure lag and non-linearity and complex working conditions, the mathematical models are difficult to set up. Therefore, satisfying control quality is difficult to get by adopting traditional control strategy. Fuzzy control can change the control experience and knowledge of the operators and the experts into the control rules expressed by language variants and use these rules to control the system.Fuzzy logic control is to some extent a way of imitating thinking way and control experiences of human beings to get some control effects. So fuzzy control mostly apply to the unknown, complicated and non-lineal system control and is mainly used to increase production , improve quality, save energy and stabilize the working condition . the fuzzy control rule, a computer control system based on the fuzzy set theory, a fuzzy language variant and fuzzy logic reasoning, a intelligence control way of imitating the human fuzzy reasoning and decision-making, and a product from the combination of fuzzy mathematics and cybernation, can solve many complicated problems for which the correct object-model control system is unlikely to set up. Recently a few cement mills have tried to use fuzzy control technology in cement production and got noticeable effects.According to the new-type dry cement production line that can produce 1,000 tons of clinker each day, based on the distributed control system of the bus in situ, applying fuzzy control technology to make design and simulation under certain temperature control in a calciner of the precalcalciner kiln system, the better stability is produced compared with the control strategy based on PID control strategy, favorable for the social and economic effect and with excellent practical prospect and development advantages.Through design and simulation, the knowledge acquired through research can be applied, and on the other hand cybernation on the frontier science and technology in current world cement production can be displayed much more familiar to us. More important, more conditions can be created for the future work so that the real-time motoring, analysis and optimization in the course of the rotary kiln cement production can be really realized.
